Description
This is an exquisite 3-4″ formal decorative dahlia in an unusual shade of ballet-slipper pink. It has a very high petal count; each unfurling bloom is a work of art. Compared to Rock Run Ashley, it is taller, later to bloom, and cooler in tone. Like Rock Run Ashley, it is an extremely heavy bloomer and florists swoon for it. I grow them both and couldn’t bear to part with either!
Note that this is the American “Bracken Rose” (AKA “Bracken Ruse”) which became wildly popular under that name before a savvy researcher figured out that it was not the original Bracken origination. “A rose by any other name…”
