Description
A breathtaking dark red (looks more blackish purple to me) and white bicolor that can easily reach A size with disbudding. Among my personal favorites and easily the most dramatic dahlia in my garden. Top of its show class with strong, straight stems for cutting. The 5.5′ plants with an upright growth habit will need to be staked well. Tubers have a tendency to rot in storage (nothing in life is perfect), so make this the first plant you dig/treat in the fall and check on it often through the winter, potting up early if necessary.
I lost my stock after failing to follow my own storage advice, but have ordered more and hope to offer it again in a year or two.
