A strong contender for personal favorite dahlia, this introduction from Tom and Lydia Cleere (via Crazy 4 Dahlias) gets all the superlatives from me! The plants are healthy and vigorous, the stems long and sturdy, the blooms abundant … and oh my goodness, what flowers! Great vase life, excellent depth and form throughout the season, most blooms grew to B size (around 7″) for me, and the blend of dark red into white is spectacular (hard to capture accurately on camera). The form of the blooms reminds me a bit of Formby Kaitlyn with the tight, uniform petals forming almost a sphere. All that said, I have limited stock this year so get your dibs in early.
